Welcome to the MRU Internet Governance Forum (MRU IGF) – a visionary platform dedicated to Connecting Minds and Shaping Digital Futures within the Mano River Union (MRU) region ( Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, and Guinea ).
Internet Governance is the development and application by Governments, the Private Sector, Academia and Civil Society, in their respective roles, of shared principles, norms, rules, decision-making procedures, and programmes that shape the evolution and use of the Internet. The Mano River Union Internet Governance Forum (MRU IGF) aims to promote Internet Governance issues in Mano River Union countries ( Liberia , Sierra Leone , Ivory Coast and Guinea ) through a multi-stakeholder process.
In an era defined by rapid digital transformation, our mission is clear: to empower MRU countries through innovative, inclusive, and collaborative approaches to internet governance. We believe that by uniting stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and fostering digital unity, we can unlock the vast potential of the MRU region and steer it towards a prosperous digital future.
